Chauncey's Great Outdoors
Host: Chauncey Niziol
Outdoor enthusiast Chauncey Niziol started his outdoor media career in 1989 by creating an outdoor information service dedicated to bringing the outdoor enthusiast the most current recreation information within the radio, television, telecommunications, internet and print media. This service evolved into the creation of a top rated local TV outdoor show in Chicago on CLTV. As part of the nightly sports program, "Sports Page," Chauncey hosted over 350 programs. The program was a LIVE call in show from the audience to assist them with their outdoor recreation needs.
Chauncey has also hosted and covered many outdoor events for ESPN ranging from the Bassmaster Classics to The Great Outdoor Games to regular contributions at ESPNOutdoors.com.
Chauncey Niziol can be heard hosting Chauncey's Great Outdoors from 6:00 - 7:00 AM on Saturday mornings on ESPN Radio 1000. His live call-in show features interviews with outdoor experts and offers information on fishing, camping, hunting, cooking, boating, hiking and napping in a hammock.
