I'm wondering how everybody is doing with crossing with kids.  Anyone lucky with the random tests? Just curious, we are crossing in a month. Any info is appreciated.

On the way home from Canada. Great trip and no border problems in either direction.

To add to the night crawler post, make sure your fish are properly filetted & bagged. When we came back, they ( MNR ) was doing a fish check on EVERYBODY. Quite an experience, as I've been going to Canada for over 40 years & never expeienced that.

Was up last week got in and out of Canada just fine. Just don’t bring any eggs, potatoes or any live bait with ya including nightcrawlers. We thought you could still bring em in newspaper bedding but found out can’t even do that now.

You should be good if you had both doses or the one dose of J&J no boosters required as of this time. Get the Arrivecan app on your phone and it should clarify things.

I know you need to be vaccinated to enter Canada. I was vaccinated April of 2021. Am I still good? Or do you need to have a booster within a certain time frame?

Eyewalls,  not sure how that contributes to the conversation but ok,  now we know, not sure anyone cares but you.  We are all blessed with the ability to make personal choices.

Wini,  The only Canadian Gov't side that I found pretty clearly states no poultry or eggs that originate from Mn and WI along with a host of other states.  And if you bring eggs you have to show proof of origin that they are not from the list.

https://inspection.canada.ca/animal-health/terrestrial-animals/diseases/reportable/avian-influenza/2022-05-05/eng/1644937572252/1644937572682

"Travellers should know that, due to this outbreak, all raw poultry and all poultry products and by-products that are not fully cooked, including eggs and raw pet foods, sourced, processed, or packaged from the restricted zones in the above states are prohibited until further notice. You may not bring these items into Canada"

This is not the first time we have went through the no egg's issue, along with a host of other items over the years.

Rather confusing. Some Canadian sites clearly state you can bring five dozen eggs in the Canada. Other sites indicate no eggs from about 14 different states including Minnesota and Wisconsin. I would guess in normal times you are allowed five dozen eggs, but temporarily with the Poultry issues and problems Canada doesn't want any eggs from restricted states including Minnesota and Wisconsin. Anyone know for sure?
